If you've read "The Last Ship," and you probably haven't, you'll be reminded of the beaches of Italy by this shot. I was, anyway. Perhaps it's because I'm addicted to all media relating to a post-apocalyptic world, but I can't shake the idea that this is what all beaches will look like in the aftermath of a major nuclear war.

In any event, it's not. It's just a little volcanic beach a long walk away from town.

that's cool. Again, I am jealous of you getting to take pictures of such a cool place.

it almost looks like the waves etc are moving cause of all the diagonals :) ... it splits up the "canvas" nicely
[can you tell i've had to do too much critiquing in my painting class...hehe...i am using painting vocabulary now]
